The Guest House was designed by India Hicks, daughter of famed British interior decorator David Hicks, and her partner David Flint Wood. The house, built in 1999 by local carpenters and craftsmen in the style of an old Caribbean plantation house, it is set in a grove of coconut trees. The forty-foot long verandas overlook both the pink sand beach and the ocean to the east and the bay to the west. The four bedrooms (2 king size upstairs and 2 twins downstairs) all have wooden four-poster beds, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. There is a dining room, sitting room, kitchen and laundry. We have our own, private path to the beach, which is virtually close enough to throw an ice cube onto from the verandas, and two thatched beach cabanas with sun beds for the use of our guests. The house comes with a daily housekeeper.
